Dubisary. I remember my Grandmother, who came from Nebraska, using the name dubisary where most people would say 'whatchacallit' or 'thingamajig.'
Often, I make whatever I feel like making at the moment, even if it's a dubisary. It's a bad habit. Maybe. After I am done with them, I almost never make more. They are all lower priced items and I have consolidated them on ETSY because it gives me the code for this neat little clickable display.

Pokes These are from my Poke Phase(it came after my Totebag Phase). When you say "I'm making pokes." People reply "Pokes?" Everyone knows, but what do you call it? So here are pictures--"Oh yeah!"

The top of each wire has a coiled loop, so you can chain them together or hang them from the top. The bottom of the wire can be easily cut off of you want to hang them as ornies, or coiled so you can make a chains out of them.

The props you see are not part of the sales items, just the pokes and nothing but the pokes.

These pokes are made from fabric, attached to wire and plasticized with polyurethane. The quilt blocks and some flowers have been slightly grunged, primitive style, so they look older than they really are. The grunge is stain inside the plastic, so it wont rub off. The wires may rust with time, making them look older still. Each one is about 10 inches tall, the flowers are 2 1/2 and 3 3/4 inches accross, the blocks are 3 1/2 inches square.
